Vastu Shastra & Feng Shui – Types of Metal Idols or statues that can be kept in the house

Many types of idols in the house, it may be metal or nonmetal. Some of which are according to Vastu and some are not. These seven types idols of the can are kept in the house as per Vastu.

Elephant Statue: You can keep an elephant statue or idol in the house. This idol should be of solid silver or brass. The elephant is a symbol of opulence. Keeping a brass statue in the bedroom helps in ending the differences between couples. Keeping a silver elephant removes all the defects related to Rahu. This is the remedy for Rahu sitting in fifth and twelfth position. According to Feng Shui, keeping a picture or idol of an elephant in the house creates a source of positive energy as well as wealth.

   Idol of Swan: Idol of swan should be kept in guest room of the house. It increases the possibilities of immense wealth and prosperity and there will always be peace in the house. Instead of two swans, you can also put a statue of two ducks or a pair of two cranes. This also maintains harmony in married life.

   Tortoise Idol: According to Feng Shui, keeping a tortoise in the house increases the wealth, prosperity along with progress. It is also believed that it symbolises long life. East and North direction is considered best for the keeping the tortoise. Tortoise can be kept in the drawing room by filling water in a vessel. The tortoise should be of metal, not of wood.

   Idol of Parrot: According to Vastu, the idol or picture of parrot should be kept in children study area or in study room. A parrot should not be caged, but keeping the picture or statue in the house is beneficial. According to Vastu Shastra, placing a picture of a parrot in the north direction increases the interest of children in studies, as well as increases their memory. The parrot is a symbol of love, loyalty, longevity and good fortune. If you are feeling sickness, despair, poverty and lack of happiness in the house, then put a picture or idol of a parrot in the house. To establish a love relationship between husband and wife, a pair of parrots is also established according to Feng Shui. According to Feng Shui, a parrot proves to be helpful in establishing the balance of the 5 elements. The colorful feathers of the parrot are actually symbols of earth, fire, water, wood and metal. Parrot brings good luck.

    Fish Idol: Instead of keeping fish in the aquarium at home, it is better to make a brass or silver idol of fish and keep it in the house. According to both Vastu and Feng Shui, this idol opens the way for progress by maintaining happiness and peace in the house. Fish is a symbol of good health, happiness and prosperity, wealth and power. You can keep this idol in the north-east or east direction of your house.

    Statue of a Cow Calf: In many houses, there is a bronze statue of Kamdhenu cow feeding a calf. Keeping an idol of a cow gives mental peace along with getting a child. Its importance has also been told in Feng Shui. For concentration in studies also you can install this idol in the house.

   Statue of Camel: The idol of a pair of camels is placed in the drawing room or living room towards the north-west direction. The camel is a symbol of hard work. Statue or picture of camels are kept for career advancement or in commercial establishments. It provides success by keeping the mind stable. Family members remain mentally strong and relaxed.
